The 2024 Hall of Fame Banquet and inductee presentations will be held on October 12, 2024. Do you know a Galion High School Graduate that deserves recognition for outstanding accomplishments in their careers and communities? Please fill out a nomination form for that individual to be considered for that honor. Nominating forms are due by June 1, 2024. Click on the banner below to print out the nominating criteria and and form. Provide as much information as possible, but most importantly nominate some one you feel is deserving of recognition.

GHS Class of 1962 Holds 45th Reunion

The Gallon Senior High class of 1962 celebrated their 45 year reunion Sept. 28 and 29. Class members attended the Galion vs. Willard football game Friday evening. They toured their alma mater on North Union Street as well as the new high school on Saturday afternoon.

Deb's Cedar Cabins banquet facility was the location of the catered buffet meal. During the evening the class remembered the 15 deceased members. Thirty-four classmates from the Galion area, several Ohio cities, West Virginia, Michigan, Missouri, Texas, California, Indiana, Georgia and Illinois, and their guests, were treated to a poem written by class poet Bob Casey as well as an evening of '60s music and social time.

The class will meet in 2009 to celebrate their 65th birthdays at a local restaurant and again in 2012 for their 50th reunion. Helena Bunker. Jim Hoover, Karen Peters, Jim Reid and Doug and Mary Court coordinated the event.
