2008  All Alumni Picnic Held August 9th

The third annual alumni picnic was held at Heise Park on August 9, 2008.  The attendees, though small in numbers, enjoyed a beautiful day.  A picnic lunch was served beginning at 1:00 p.m. with musical entertainment provided by members of the Alumni Band.

All age groups were represented at the Galion Alumni Association Gathering

The picnic was followed by a short annual business meeting at 2:00 p.m. where the updated Constitution and By-Laws were approved.  This version of the Constitution and By-Laws will be posted to the Alumni Association website soon.

If any one has wondered who the face is behind the Galion Alumni Association website, this is the guy.

Brian Treish, President of the Galion Alumni Association gives an interview to WMFD - TV.

Brian is responsible for keeping the Association running smoothly and on track.

Additional  entertainment was an old fashioned girls baseball game which began at 3:00 p.m. This game was between was between the Lady Diamonds of the Ohio Village and the Lady Gems of Galion.  The Galion ladies prevailed again this year to win the game 13 to 7.
