2024 Hall of Fame The 2024 Hall of Fame Banquet and inductee presentations will be held on October 12, 2024. Do you know a Galion High School Graduate that deserves recognition for outstanding accomplishments in their careers and communities? Please fill out a nomination form for that individual to be considered for that honor. Nominating forms are due by June 1, 2024. Click on the banner below to print out the nominating criteria and and form. Provide as much information as possible, but most importantly nominate some one you feel is deserving of recognition. |

Annual Holiday Concert Set for GHS
The Annual Galion High School Choral Concert is set for Monday, December 14, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at the Galion High School gymnasium. This year the 5th grade choir and the 8th grade choirs will also perform. Mr. Richard Walker will direct the 8th grade and high school groups while Mrs. Nancy Fairchild will lead the 5th grade group. The high school Concert Choir will start the performance. The Concert Choir will perform "Frosty the Snowman", "Silver Bells" with soloists Kelly Mann and Kaitlyn Wiggins, and end with "Sing Out with Praise". The Fifth Grade Choir will perform "Peaceful, Silent Night" and "The Spirit of the Season". The Eighth Grade Choir will complete the first half of the concert with "Winter Wonderland", "The Snow Begins to Fall" with soloists Chelsea Shifley and Bryton Carpenter, and "Jingle All the Way". Following a short intermission the Galion Showtunes will perform "Jingle Bells", "Christmastime Is Here", and "Gettin' in the Mood". The Symphonic Choir will perform "Deck the Halls", "The Christmas Shoes" with soloist Kennan Walker, "Still, Still, Still", and "Carol of the Drum". The combined choirs will perform "Twas the Night Before Christmas" with soloists Ryan Karbula, Jen Karbula, and Jakob Plummer. The concert will end with the "Hallelujah Chorus" by Handel.
