CONNECTIONS WEEKEND

October 6-8, 2011

Connections Weekend started with a conversation in 2009 and grew into three days full of special events.  2011 marks our Third Annual Connections Weekend event! This special weekend provides opportunity for Galion alumni, community members, and students to connect and form bonds that will last a lifetime.  Whether it is through the Career Day activities, cheering at the football game, playing in the band or in the golf scramble, attending the Hall of Fame Dinner, or other great Connections events, the strong support from Galion alumni and friends will only enhance the overall educational experience for the children of the Galion City Schools

The Synergy Committee, planners of Connections Weekend, is made up of a group of dedicated volunteers who capitalized on the combined energy of several community organizations including the Galion City Schools, the Galion Alumni Association, the Galion Community Education Foundation, The Galion Tiger Alumni Band, the Galion Community Center/YMCA, the Galion Community Foundation, the Galion Booster Club and the Galion Parent Teacher Organizations.

The Synergy Committee is pleased to announce the list of 2011 Galion City School Hall of Fame Inductees.  Seventeen outstanding nominees were submitted for this year’s Hall of Fame. Of the seventeen individuals submitted, eight will be inducted into the Hall of Fame for 2011.

The 2011 Hall of Fame Inductees are:
