2024 Hall of Fame The 2024 Hall of Fame Banquet and inductee presentations will be held on October 12, 2024. Do you know a Galion High School Graduate that deserves recognition for outstanding accomplishments in their careers and communities? Please fill out a nomination form for that individual to be considered for that honor. Nominating forms are due by June 1, 2024. Click on the banner below to print out the nominating criteria and and form. Provide as much information as possible, but most importantly nominate some one you feel is deserving of recognition.

Connections Weekend Planning Committee February 13, 2019
Agenda Attendance: Jennifer Allerding, Kyle Baughn, Joe Kleinknecht, Sandy Powell, Chris Stone and Brian Treisch Financial Report: No Report Coordinator's Report: a decision needs to be made in March for the coordinator's position. Chris Stone has expressed interest in serving the committee in this capacity. Committee Updates: Bonfire/Pep Rally - No Report Pancake Breakfast - Kiwanis Club - No Report Alumni Band Night - No Report Hall of Fame Nominations - For 2019, the nomination forms will be available on March 1st and continue until June 1st. New nominations currently in the file are: David Campbell, Mary Court, Deb Garverick, Ken Jarvis and Kelly Dye) Rowland. Dinner/Banquet - No Report Fund Raising - Connections Weekend sponsorship letters will be mailed by April 1st. If a Scholarship program is approved, then communications would begin during Connections Weekend. Program - No Report Awards - No Report Career Day - No Report Other Business - Chris, Joe and Brian discussed the use of Synergy funds for a scholarship program in lieu of a brick and mortar program. Kyle shared that there is still interest in a Field House by a group, but also a Performing Arts Center. Meeting Adjourned @ 8:20 a.m. Next Meeting: March 13, 2019 @ 7:30 a.m., at the District Administrative Center. |
