2024 Hall of Fame The 2024 Hall of Fame Banquet and inductee presentations will be held on October 12, 2024. Do you know a Galion High School Graduate that deserves recognition for outstanding accomplishments in their careers and communities? Please fill out a nomination form for that individual to be considered for that honor. Nominating forms are due by June 1, 2024. Click on the banner below to print out the nominating criteria and and form. Provide as much information as possible, but most importantly nominate some one you feel is deserving of recognition.

2023 Connections Weekend
Connections Weekend preparations are moving forward and the following contains information being sent to businesses and individuals to promote the event. Two forms are included with this article and printabl versions may be accessed by clicking on the image or links.
Dear Galion Community Member: It is with great pleasure that I share with you an exciting event that will take place in the Galion community October 12 -14, 2023. We hope that you will be a part of the wonderful events and activities taking place! Connections Weekend is a celebration of Galion, a learning experience for Galion students, and a way to meet and reconnect with friends and family in Galion. The Galion City Schools, the Galion Alumni Association, the Galion Community Education Foundation, the Galion Tiger Alumni Band, and the Galion Community Foundation have joined together for Connections Weekend. This year's Connections Weekend promises to be even more exciting than previous ones, with many featured events. Here are the scheduled events for this year: Thursday, October 12, 2023: • Old Fashioned Pep Rally - 6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. - Practice Football Field - Bonfire & GHS and Alumni Band Friday, October 13, 2023: • Career Day - 7:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. - Galion Middle School - Returning alumni share their success stories • Homecoming Football Game - 7:00 p.m. - Unckrich Stadium - Galion vs. Clear Fork Saturday, October 14, 2023: • Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast - 8:00 a.m.-10:30 a.m. - Galion Intermediate School • Alumni Hall of Fame Induction Dinner - 6:30 p.m. - Galion Middle School Cafe EVENT SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITY You are receiving this letter because you have been identified as a Galion graduate or outstanding contributor to the Galion community. 2023 Hall of Fame Dinner
You are invited to attend the dinner and induction ceremony on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at the Galion Middle School beginning at 6:30 pm. Tickets are $35 each and can be ordered by completing and mailing this form, with a check for the number of dinners ordered, to the Galion Board of Education, 470 Portland Way North, Galion, Ohio 44833.
