GHS Class of 1962 Holds 45th Reunion

The Gallon Senior High class of 1962 celebrated their 45 year reunion Sept. 28 and 29. Class members attended the Galion vs. Willard football game Friday evening. They toured their alma mater on North Union Street as well as the new high school on Saturday afternoon. Deb's Cedar Cabins banquet facility was the location of the catered buffet meal. During the evening the class remembered the 15 deceased members. Thirty-four classmates from the Galion area, several Ohio cities, West Virginia, Michigan, Missouri, Texas, California, Indiana, Georgia and Illinois, and their guests, were treated to a poem written by class poet Bob Casey as well as an evening of '60s music and social time. The class will meet in 2009 to celebrate their 65th birthdays at a local restaurant and again in 2012 for their 50th reunion. Helena Bunker.
