2008 Raffle Tickets Available Now

The Galion Alumni Association annual raffle is underway.  Each year the Association holds a raffle to raise funds for projects. Some of  those projects are new and others are ongoing. The proceeds from the 2006 and 2007 raffle were dedicated to the Entryway project.  This project turned out very well and all of those who participated in one way or another are to be congratulated.  To continue providing support for the Galion City School District and the children of Galion, additional funds will be needed.

The raffle drawing will be held October 10, 2008 after the Homecoming Football Game at the Varsity Grille.  1st Prize is $1000, 2nd prize is $500, 3rd Prize is $300 and 4th Prize is $200.  Only 800 tickets have been printed so chances of winning are better than playing the lottery. Tickets are $5 each or a book of five for $20 and are available now from Joe Kleinknecht at the Galion Chamber Office or Brian Treisch at Uptowne Outfitters.  Tickets will be sold at the All Alumni Picnic on August 9, home football games, Oktoberfest and other events.
