Special Board Meeting - Nov. 2008

Galion Alumni Association Executive Committee Special Meeting Minutes November 10, 2008   Attendance:  Steve Melchior, Sue Jarvis, Bill Durtschi, Joe Kleinknecht, Brian Treisch, Terry Schifley, Lee Anne Shifley, Doug Schilling, Shaw Woerlein President Brian Treisch called the meeting to order. A meeting is being held at the Galion High School on Nov. 12th with the Galion Boosters Club and the Galion Education Foundation.  The groups are being asked to look at ways in which all three groups can work together for the Galion City School District.  Ideas were discussed.  One idea that came to the forefront was reinstitution of the Alumni Hall of Fame.  No decisions will be made until the Alumni Board has had a chance to discuss it at the next regularly scheduled Executive Committee meeting on November 17th. Another item to be added on the agenda for the next meeting will be the merging of the Alumni Band with the Alumni Association. The next meeting will be at the Varsity Grille at 6:oo p.m. on November 17th. Meeting adjourned. Respectfuly Submitted, Sue Jarvis Secretary
