MONTHLY MEETING

Board of Directors Attendance: Brian Treisch, Joe Kleinknecht, Steve Melchior, Bill Durtschi, Tina Waller & Nicole Young.

The meeting was called to order by Brian Treisch.

We had a visitor, Mr. Steven Erlsten, Attorney and Secretary of The Community Foundation.

Mr. Erlsten gave us information about our putting some of our Alumni funds into a 501C3 fund tied into The Community Foundation.  The fund is pooled into Edward Jones Co. with Market and conservative investments.  A 501C3 fund can take in funds from Educational, Religious, Recreational Groups, etc.

We need a letter from the Alumni Association that we want to invest in this 501C3 fund. Then an acceptance letter.

Approval of Minutes by Joe and seconded by Tina. All approved.

Finances approved by Bill and seconded by Tina. All Approved.

We have 1000 raffle tickets we really need to sell to cover our prizes.

In regard to our savings and checking accounts we need to keep them as is per Steve.

We discussed putting $5000.00 in the Galion Community Foundation. Approved by Steve and second by Tina.

No other Business.
