The GHS Class of 1964 assembled Saturday, September 27th for their 50 Year Reunion at the Galion Country Club. There were forty seven class members and twenty five guests in attendance. A blessing and a remembrance for thirty three deceased class members was made by Pat Strauch. Jack Koschnick served as the Master of Ceremonies for the evenings event.

 

Awards were given to the classmates with the first reservation submitted, traveling the greatest distance to attend and having the most grandchildren. 

 

Additional activities included a Friday evening reception at the home of Jeff and Karen (Auld) Flowers.  Class members were offered golf at Valley View Golf Course on Saturday morning, a tour of the Gill House Saturday afternoon and breakfast at BJ’s Restaurant on Sunday. 

 

The Reunion Committee of Karen (Auld) Flowers, Sherri (Truitt) Olmutz, Barbara (Sames) Koschnick and Tara (Alexander) Rupp organized the reunion weekend activities. A 55 Year Reunion will be offered in 2019.
