Connections Weekend Planning                         October 10, 2016

In Attendance:  Kyle Baughn, Jim Grubbs, Miranda Jones, Brian Kinnard, Joe Kleinknecht, Rick Maddox, Steve Melchior, Sandy Powell, Dave Spraw, Marlilyn Stepro, Brian Treisch.

Financial Report/Fund Raising - $315 collected since the last meeting; total received $12,347.00;  OSU-Mansfield declined to participate this year;  still waiting for the Education Foundation's contributions;

Review Minutes - No changes were recommended.

Committee Updates:

Bonfire/Pep Rally - Kyle announced that all is ready; fire department will assist in starting the fire; boy scouts contributed the wooden pallets.

Pancake Breakfast - Kiwanis is ready to serve breakfast at the Intermediate School on Saturday morning.

Alumni Band Night - 40+ alumni band, twirlers & cheerleaders.

Banquet Details - We have 90 reservations to be set-up @ the MS; will have 6 rectangular tables which will provide seating for 10 per table and 7 round tables seating 7 per table; extra seating has been made available for late registrants.

Program of Hall of Fame Dinner - Dave Spraw has completed all bio's and reviewed advertising space; Dave still needs photos from Jim Wegesin & Ric Jobe; Dave also prepared an insert for this week's Homecoming Football game program; Jim will look for powerpoint template; Dave will have photos sent to Jim for insert in the powerpoint; Steven Hammond or Brian Summer will support tech for the evening; AVITA will arrive with the food at 3:30 pm. 

Career Day @ MS - Brian Kinnard announced that the Career Day will begin at the MS at 8:30 am with lunch served for speakers @ 11:00 am.

Other Business - Need to again discuss coordination of the event for 2017; Brian suggested continued follow-up after the event.

Follow-up Meeting - October 26th @ 7:30 am in the Administrative Center.
