Connections Weekend Planning Meeting                          August 19, 2020

In Attendance:  Jen Allerding, Kyle Baughn, Terry Gribble, Steve Melchoir, Sandy Powell, Dave Spraw and Brian Treisch

Financial Report - No new items.

Approve Minutes - July 22nd meeting minutes were approved.

Connections Weekend School Events

-           Senior Celebration - October 5^th.

-           Homecoming Dance - not expecting to hold on 10/17.

-           Career Day Options on October 16th are in process.

Connections Weekend Community Events

-           YMCA sponsoring the annual 5K race on Saturday, 10/17.

-           Pancake Day? - Still undecided.

-           No Hall of Fame Dinner.

Recognition slideshow of previous honoree's - committee liked the idea, but needed someone to put the media presentation together. The slideshow could play on the district Facebook page and the Alumni Association's webpage and Facebook page. Also, discussed banners could be made of past Hall of Fame recipients that could hang on the campus.

Performing Arts Center - No further planning until 2021 due to pandemic concerns.

Next Meeting - Wednesday, September 16, 2020 @ 7:30 am. Location TBD;
