In Attendance: Jen Allerding, Terry Gribble, Steve Melchior, Melissa Miller, Sandy Powell, Dave Spraw & Brian Treisch

Financial Report - Dave Spraw reported that a check for $2500 was received from the Galion Alumni Association.

Marketing/Fundraising - Marketing packets will be sent out in the next week to businesses. Melissa Miller, Brian Treisch and Sandy Powell have offered to help prepare packets for mailing if needed.

Connections Weekend 2022 Events

Bonfire, Alumni Band & Pep Rally @ Unckrich Stadium - Thursday, October 13th

Career Day - Friday, October 14th @ MS ; Jen will update the MS Principal

Homecoming Game - October 14th @ Unckrich Stadium

Kiwanis Pancake Day - Saturday, October 15th @Intermediate School

Connections/YMCA 5K Race & 1 Mile Walk @ Middle School - October 15th

Hall of Fame Dinner - October 15th @ 6:30 pm at the MS Cafetorium

Hall of Fame 2022 Honorees:

Approved honorees include: David Campbell (59), Chip Durtschi (73), Terry Jobe, DDS (73), Tim & Patty Miller (Galion Educators), Tom O'leary (74), Lynn Stowe (73) & Brian Treisch (74)

Letters will be mailed to the honorees requesting bio's, photographs and dinner reservations.

Brian will check with Craig Alguire re:photos of recipients for the program.

Hall of Fame Banquet Details:

AVITA will be catering the dinner. Committee selected Bourbon Chicken and Apple Mustard Pork Tenderloin as entrees. Vegetarian plates may also be requested. Sandy will arrange the banquet menu w/AVITA catering.

Schilling will again donate the awards, Miranda Jones will remain in contact w/Schillings.

Dave Spraw will be master of ceremony this year.

Sandy will order centerpieces through Flower Cart Florist.

Performing Arts Center - Brian shared that the Galion Port Authority requests selected members from the school district and local municipalities to participate in future planning/feasibility sessions regarding the formation of a Recreational Economic Improvement District.

Other: Terry Gribble is now serving as the Director of Operations at the YMCA
