In Attendance: Jennifer Allerding, Kyle Baughn, Terry Gribble, Regina Jutz, Melissa Miller, Sandy Powell, and Brian Treisch

Financial Report - No report for this month

Review and approve minutes - Minutes from the March meeting will be approved in June.

Timeline for Nominations

● 2023 Nominations are due June 1, 2023

● Need to set a meeting date and time for the selection committee to determine 2023 HOF Class

● 2023 nominations on file include: Dave & Dan Beach (71) & Educator Award - Philip Bunyard .

● Need additional nominations

Hall of Fame Catering Planning

● Sandy received the Buehler's Catering Proposal

● The committee approved for Buehlers to provide the catering.

● Sandy will bring a detailed catering proposal at the June meeting.

2023 Connections Weekend Events - October 12 - 14, 2023

● Bonfire, Pep Rally & Alumni Band Practice - October 12th

● Career Day @ Middle School - October 13th

● Homecoming Game vs. Clear Fork Colts - October 13th

● Kiwanis Pancake Day @ Intermediate School - October 14th

● Hall of Fame Dinner/Induction Ceremony @ Middle School - October 14th

Performing Arts Center -

● No new report for the Performing Arts Center

Other:

● Galion City Schools plans to have a levy renewal on the ballot for November 2023

● The Galion Alumni Association has elected new officers - President - Megan Tyrrell, Vice

President - Sarah Wegesin, Secretary - Kelly Phelps and Treasurer - Steve Melchoir

● Brian Treisch will remain the representative for the Connections Committee.

● We encourage one or more of the officers to attend the upcoming Connections Weekend Planning Meetings.
